Hello Parents!
On Wednesday, 3/12/14, we will participate in a Hobo Scavenger Hunt in accordance with our recent study of the Great Depression. During the Hunt, the children will be divided into groups and allowed to search the campus, using their smart phones/iPads/devices to gather information. Specifically, your child will need to have a QR reader installed IF they are to use their technology. There are several free downloadable apps that can do this. I have “QR Reader for iPhone” by Tap Media Ltd.
Please note, a QR reader is NOT necessary for this assignment, just a fun chance to use the technology our kids are so good at using! I only need a couple of students per group to have the QR reader. Your child will be the only one using his/her phone during the activity. If your student does NOT have a phone, please know he/she will NOT be the only one!
Again, they will only use the phone for this class assignment. They cannot use their phone for personal use.
If you have any questions, please contact me via school [email protected]
Sincerely,
Beth Tyler
